Henry Wend earned his PhD in U.S. History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His academic work focused on the Marshall Plan and its implementation in West Germany. He has taught at the University of Missouri at Columbia, Boston University and Berlin’s Free University. Since 2003, he has worked at the University School of Milwaukee as a teacher of History and Economics, Academic Dean, and, most recently, as Director of Global Studies.
