Survey I look forward to sharing ideas with you and talking about how we can inspire students, provide opportunities for students to communicate, collaborate, and create. To empower the students with choices and engage them, transforming from learners to leaders.
I have a lot of ideas and student examples that I am excited to share with you, and will do my best to make the session personalized for you and work through some of these tools, how to use them and get you started during the session.
Session will provide time for an overview and interactive lesson with participation using collaborative tools, assessment tools, interactive video tools, project based learning tools and more. We will work on creating some new resources to take back to our classrooms and share our experiences.
The attendees will explore digital resources and learn how to enhance communication and collaboration through technology, while also encouraging student choice and voice and therefore enhancing their creativity and motivation through the use of technology. The tools shared in this presentation will be based on the questions and interests of the attendees, determined by use of survey before session to determine interests of those attending.
Throughout the session many examples will be available to provide new ideas and one on one interactions as well, to inform teachers and attendees of ways to provide enhanced learning opportunities for students and alternative ways to deliver instruction through a variety of assessment tools and diverse and innovative digital storytelling projects and other presentation formats, all paperless. Teachers will learn how digital tools can be used to quickly assess and encourage student participation in classroom discussion while learning additional technology skills. The tools can also allow learning to occur beyond the traditional time and setting of the classroom and provide was to promote student involvement in their learning experiences.
The focus is on showing how technology opens possibilities for communication, collaboration and centers on promoting personalized learning and choice for students.
