In this hands-on workshop, participants will have an opportunity to practice communicative techniques that allow students to gain second-language skills while focusing on the most compelling subject out there--themselves! The techniques taught and practiced during this session are applicable to any language, and any level. Not only that, but they may greatly increase student engagement (and maybe even reduce some class management issues) while actually decreasing the amount of time required for the teacher to prep! Too good to be true? Come and find out! This session will combine demonstration, explanation, and discussion, with ample opportunity for attendees to practice what they learn in a friendly environment.
