From the classroom to the table—grow food to eat at your school. See how planting, growing, harvesting, eating, and composting can be done involving the school community. Learn the sustainable practices of composting by combining greens and browns to make organic, rich soil for any garden. Give vermicomposting a try too. Add an outdoor component to your science curriculum or start your own kitchen garden at home. Grow and eat food locally—be a locovore! This session is for all.
