The Innovative Power of Asking, 'What if? Why not? and So what?' FILLING

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity filling up

After hearing from the innovative minds at Summer Spark, we will want to have it all. But how? Let's engage in conversation, share experiences, and plan strategies with educators interested in creating an environment of pirates, innovative geniuses, savvy gamers, and textbook ditchers. Please attend this workshop to create immediate, actionable plans for memorable classroom experiences. For educators. For students.
  • What if a teacher’s primary responsibilities are to facilitate learning by supporting innovation, provide immediate feedback to student performance, ask open-ended questions, and listen as students talk themselves through creative insecurity?
  • What if learners understand how to assess their performance against course standards, recognize opportunities for growth, determine reasonable timelines for completion and sharing of artifacts they create, and craft authentic outcomes as evidence of their learning?
  • Why not participate in a workshop session personalized to meet the professional development needs of educators interested in transforming the learning process for their students?
  • So what? So students and teachers have the autonomy, space, and time to produce enduring learning.
Let's explore our collaborative impact and innovative power by asking, “What if? Why not? So what?”
