Welcome to Summer Spark 2016! We hope you have an incredible two days of innovating, collaborating, and connectating! The collaborative notes and presenter materials will be available at http://bit.ly/USMSparkNotes16. Let us know if we can help you in any way. Enjoy!
Activity based methodologies are great ways to engage participants, foster community, expand awareness and meet a wide range of personal and academic outcomes in the classroom and beyond. This workshop is an introduction to framing and sequencing activities, developing simulations and learning games and processing and transferring experiences. We will also explore some of the theory and growing body of research on this approach and share ideas on ways to incorporate activities of all kinds into a range of learning environments. We will be active for part of this workshop. THIS IS PART ONE OF A TWO PART WORKSHOP.
